IDBI Bank Annex Building, CBD

IDBI Annex Building at CBD, Navi Mumbai is a 1 Lakh Sq.Ft. of construction which is designed to merge with the existing structure to create one single building form. One of the most unique challenges of this project was to propose an innovative design solution for extension of the existing IDBI building to accommodate the expansion plans for the workforce. A negative space was identified in the existing design and a tower like structure amalgamating with the original building form was created. Unique features of the project are : Triple height entry, An Atrium encompassed in an imposing glass globe spanning over the height of 3 floors, Half of the globe can be seen as a Concave structure when seen from outside and the other half is embedded inside the structure and can be seen as a Convex Surface when viewed from inside the Atrium.
