Harit Jal Vaayu - Is There A Tomorrow?

Mumbai Chapter, in association with Indian Green Building Council and Indian Plumbing Association, organised a seminar on August 2 at Hotel Hyatt Regency. The highlight of the program was a panel discussion on Harit Jal Vaayu - Is There A Tomorrow?

The Chief Guest was Ravi Raheja, CMD, K. Raheja Corp and Chairman, IGBC Mumbai Chapter. The Guest of Honour was Avinash Patil, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development and Joint Director Town Planning, Maharashtra. Architect Karan Grover, the Master Speaker, made a presentation on ‘Sustainability and Buildings - the Tangible and the Immeasurable’.

R. S. Kulkarni, Fellow and Life Member - ASHRAE, HVACR Consultant spoke on ‘An Attempt at Sustainability - Application of Natural Cooling System for Human Comfort’. Architect Sandeep Shikre, President and CEO, SSA Architects talked about ‘Power of Design’. Dr. Pawan Agrawal spoke on ‘Sustainable Logistics Management: Bombay Dabbawala Mumbai Holds Harit Jal VayuExperience’. Sharat V. Rao, CMD, Engineering Creations Public Health Consultancy talked about ‘Sustainable Approach Towards Water Conservation’. K. Ramchandran, National President Elect, ISHRAE and Director, Eskayem Consultants also made a presentation.
